Transportation from Midway

Flying into Midway and staying at Hilton Garden Inn Downtown.

Looking for input on transportation there and back. Arrival Wednesday 3pm. Was considering taking the orange line but not sure where to get off. Looks easy enough to board and 30min ride seems like a cheap ';green'; way to go.

Flying home on Saturday 9:30am flight. How early does orange line run? Will it be smarter to hire a car?

Transportation from Midway

From Midway, take the Orange Line to Roosevelt. At Roosevelt, transfer to a north-bound (Howard) Red Line train and take that to Grand. Exit the Grand Ave station to the northeast and you will be right in front of your hotel. On Saturday, the first Orange Line train to Midway arrives at Roosevelt at 5:11 a.m. and the Red Line runs 24/7, so you should have no problems there.
