We%26#39;re coming into town this weekend and are trying to save $$ on parking.
Near Talbott Hotel garages are ~$30/day.
At O%26#39;Hare, long term parking is $13/day and there is a free shuttle to our hotel.
We%26#39;re thinking we%26#39;d rather walk and take public transit with the $$ we are saving and not have to deal with parking and re-parking stresses.
Does anyone see any potential problems with the O';Hare parking option?

Your question is kind of confusing. You don%26#39;t need a car downtown. Parking%26#39;s expensive. Public transit is abundant.
Are you considering leaving your car at ORD and taking the train downtown? If so, long term parking at ORD is fine.

If you are talking about the Talbott having a free shuttle, they do not.
