Museum Parking

Does anyone know how long you can leave your car parked at the Museum Campus parking lots?

It appears that it cost $15 to park there, but the museum websites (Shedd, Field, Adler) make it seem that the lots are open unitl 5:00pm. The Shedd is open unitl 6:00 and we were hoping to walk through Grant/Millenium Park for a little in the evening, (PLUS avoid some of the rush hour). Can you stay parked there until 8:00pm??

North Garage and Adler Planetarium Lot

5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday

6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

East Museum Lot

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

You might want to consider the garage at Millenium Park. www.millenniumpark.org - it%26#39;s open 24/7.

Museum Parking

I think you should be able to park in the North Garage past 5:00, unless there is a special event the day you are going. I think that you can park for up to 12 hours, but you cannot park overnight there. My wife works in the area and uses that garage everyday. She does not always leave before 5:00 and frequently sees tourists leaving after 5:00 as well.
