Does anyone know if you can watch the Cubs take batting practice if you get to Wrigley when it opens (5:00 for a 7:00 game)?? Or is it just the visiting team??
Batting Practice-Wrigley
You%26#39;ll be able to see both teams.
Batting Practice-Wrigley
That%26#39;s not my experience. Usually when the gates open, the Cubs have already finished BP and the visitors are doing their BP. Even that ends quite a while before game time, because they put away the BP equipment (extra backstop, etc.), hose down the infield, re-chalk the base lines, etc.
BUMP--- Anybody else have any info???
Well, I was at last night%26#39;s game (6/13 vs Seattle). At 5pm, while in line for the bleachers to open, we could see through the ';knothole'; on Sheffield that it was already visitors%26#39; BP. There were a few Cubs on the field playing catch in the outfield, but the visitors were batting.
All major league teams have set times for batting and infield practice, home team and visitors team, that they follow, day in and day out, except if there is pre -game rain or if the game the night before went extra innings. The times are posted on each teams web site, usually under the A- Z Guide under the stadium tab. If you can%26#39;t find it, call the Cubs.
I can%26#39;t find the times on the website-call the Cubs at 773 404 cubs
